- Verify patient identity and confirm test orders before proceeding with blood collection.
- Ensure proper patient identification and specimen labeling to maintain sample integrity and traceability.
- Provide clear instructions to patients regarding the blood collection process and address any concerns or questions they may have.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disinfecting equipment and disposing of biohazardous waste according to established protocols.

Preferred candidate profile
- Diploma or equivalent required;
certification in phlebotomy preferred.
- Proven experience performing venipuncture and capillary puncture procedures in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
