About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hospital pharmacy at Medinova Super Specialty Hospitals, Medchal, Hyderabad.

The Pharmacy Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient pharmacy operations, accurate and timely dispensing of medications, effective inventory management, regulatory compliance, medication safety, and the supervision and development of pharmacy staff.

The ideal candidate will have strong hospital pharmacy experience, excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering safe, patient-centered pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hospital pharmacy and ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement and maintain best practices in hospital pharmacy operations and pharmacy practice.
- Conduct daily stock audits and monitor Reorder Levels (ROL) to ensure optimum inventory availability.
- Manage pharmacy stock indenting and coordinate with the Procurement team for timely fulfillment of pharmacy and laboratory indents - Daily basis
- Monitor inventory levels, expiry management, stock movement, and minimize stock-outs and wastage.
- Ensure the accurate, timely, and safe dispensing of medications in accordance with prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Supervise, guide, train, and mentor pharmacy technicians and pharmacy staff.
- Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and safety standards.




- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and audit reports.
- Verify prescriptions, including dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and medication appropriateness, wherever applicable.
- Promote medication safety practices and support initiatives aimed at reducing medication errors.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, laboratory teams, procurement, and other clinical departments.
- Participate in multidisciplinary clinical, quality improvement, and patient-safety initiatives.
- Analyze pharmacy workflows and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Support proper handling, storage, documentation, and administration processes related to vaccines and immunization services.
- Ensure the pharmacy maintains appropriate stock levels, storage conditions, and documentation at all times.

Qualifications
- B.Pharm or M.Pharm from a recognized/accredited institution.
- Valid registration with the State Pharmacy Council / appropriate regulatory authority.
- Relevant experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy operations.
- Strong knowledge of hospital formulary management, medication safety, inventory management, and pharmacy regulations.
- Experience in supervising and managing pharmacy teams.
- Familiarity with Pharmacy Information Systems, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced hospital environment and make sound operational decisions.
