Job Summary A Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, ensuring safe and effective drug use, maintaining pharmacy inventory, and providing professional guidance to patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications according to valid prescriptions.
Review prescriptions for accuracy and potential drug interactions.
Counsel patients on dosage, side effects, and proper medication use.
Maintain inventory, stock levels, and expiry date monitoring.
Ensure proper storage of medicines and controlled drugs.
Prepare pharmacy records and support audits and regulatory inspections.
Coordinate with doctors and healthcare staff when required.
Eligibility Criteria
Education
B.Pharm or D.Pharm from a recognized institution.
Skills
Strong knowledge of pharmacology and drug safety.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Positive communication and patient counseling skills.
Basic computer and pharmacy software knowledge.
Experience
1-3 years of experience are welcome
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate
- Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu (Coimbatore): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
