Role Description The PGT Political Science role is a full-time, on-site teaching position based in Bengaluru. The educator will plan and deliver engaging Political Science lessons for senior grades, aligned with the prescribed curriculum and school standards. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, facilitating classroom discussions, assessing student performance, and providing constructive feedback.

The role also involves mentoring students, maintaining accurate academic records, coordinating with other faculty members, and participating in school activities, meetings, and professional development programs.





Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Political Science and related social science domains, with the ability to connect theoretical concepts to contemporary issues.
- Well-developed analytical skills to design assessments, evaluate student work, and foster critical thinking in the classroom.
- Effective communication skills for transparent instruction, student engagement, and collaboration with colleagues and families.
- Background in Education, including knowledge of pedagogy, curriculum planning, and classroom management suited for grades XI–XII.
- Research skills to update teaching materials, integrate current events, and support project-based learning.
- Master’s degree in Political Science or a closely related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training qualification preferred.
- Prior experience teaching Political Science at the senior secondary level in a school setting, ideally residential.
- Ability to contribute to co-curricular activities, mentor diverse learners, and uphold the school’s values and code of conduct.
