Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science/Computer Applications to senior secondary students (Classes XIXII).
- Develop strong conceptual understanding through engaging and practical teaching methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, assessments, assignments, worksheets, and question papers.
- Mentor students for board examinations and competitive/entrance-level preparation where applicable.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure effective utilization of computer labs.
- Evaluate student performance and provide regular academic feedback.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in Computer Science, programming, and technology.
- Collaborate with other faculty members for academic planning and student development.
- Participate in school activities, parent-teacher meetings,
workshops, and other academic responsibilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a relevant discipline.
- B.Ed. qualification is preferred/required as per applicable school norms.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Java/C++, SQL, Computer Networks, DBMS, and core Computer Science concepts.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to teach concepts from basic to advanced levels.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience
- 38 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Experience teaching CBSE Classes XI–XII will be an added advantage.
- Experience in preparing students for board examinations and competitive-level assessments is preferred.
