We are looking for a qualified and responsible Pharmacy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The candidate will assist in the smooth functioning of the pharmacy, support medication dispensing activities, maintain pharmacy records, and ensure proper storage and handling of medicines.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in dispensing prescribed medicines accurately under the supervision of the Pharmacist.
- Check prescriptions and assist with proper dosage and medication preparation.
- Maintain pharmacy stock, inventory, and expiry records.
- Arrange and store medicines properly as per hospital guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy records and documentation.
- Support the Pharmacist in providing medication-related information to patients.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy.
- Coordinate with Pharmacists, doctors, and nursing staff for smooth pharmacy operations.
Qualification & Requirements:
- Diploma in Pharmacy Assistant / Pharmacy Assistant Course from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience in a hospital or pharmacy is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsible, organized, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in rotating shifts, if required.
