About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Developer with deep expertise in Financial Management (FSCM) and Supply Chain modules. The ideal candidate is a strong Fluid UI developer with a solid grasp of PeopleTools, Application Engine, and integration frameworks. Healthcare industry background and EDI/HL7 experience are highly valued by differentiators.

Key Responsibilities

Core Development

- Design, develop, and maintain PeopleSoft FSCM and Supply Chain modules including Procurement, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Asset Management, and Inventory.
- Build and enhance Fluid UI pages, components, and navigation collections using PeopleTools 8.60.
- Develop and optimise Application Engine programs, Component Interfaces, Application Packages, and SQR/SQL scripts.
- Create and maintain Integration Broker services, web services, and REST/SOAP-based APIs for third-party integrations.

Customization & Configuration

- Perform fit-gap analysis and functional-to-technical design translation for FSCM and SCM business processes.
- Manage PeopleCode development across records, components, menus, and pages.
- Support Change Management (PUM) updates, patches, and upgrades with minimal business disruption.
- Perform performance tuning of queries, Application Engines, and integrations.

EDI & Integrations (Preferred)

- Design and implement EDI transaction sets (850, 810, 856, 820, 270/271, 837, 835) within PeopleSoft or middleware platforms.




- Build and troubleshoot inbound/outbound EDI mappings and partner profiles.
- Collaborate with trading partners and clearinghouses on testing and certification.

Healthcare Domain (Preferred)

- Apply knowledge of healthcare workflows — claims processing, provider management, eligibility verification — to technical solutions.
- Work within HIPAA-compliant environments and support regulatory data requirements.
- Integrate PeopleSoft HR/Financial systems with clinical or health plan platforms.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on PeopleSoft Technical Development experience with PeopleTools 8.55 or higher.
- Solid proficiency in Fluid UI framework — pages, tiles, homepages, navigation collections.
- Expertise in FSCM modules: General Ledger, AP, AR, Procurement, Purchasing, Inventory.
- Proficient in PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interface, and Integration Broker.
- Strong SQL and query optimization skills (Oracle/DB2/SQL Server).
- Experience with PS Query, BI Publisher, and nVision reporting.
- Ability to read and translate functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

EDI Experience

- EDI transaction sets (X12: 850, 810, 856, 835, 837, 270/271)
- EDI mapping tools (Gentran, Sterling, Informatica, Mule)
- Trading partner setup and AS2/SFTP communication
- HL7 v2.x / FHIR exposure is a strong plus

Healthcare Background

- Healthcare payer or provider environment experience
- HIPAA 4010/5010 compliance knowledge
- Claims, eligibility, and remittance workflows
- Integration with EHR/EMR or health plan systems
