Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a skilled specializing in PD, DV, DFT, and AL. The candidate will work on the end-to-end development and execution of projects related to physical design, design verification, design-for-test, and analog layout. Daily responsibilities include implementing and optimizing physical design flows,
verifying designs for functionality and performance, ensuring design-for-testability measures are in place, and working on analog layout challenges.
Collaborative work with cross-functional teams is expected, alongside responsibilities to support the development lifecycle from planning to final tape-out.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Physical Design (layout, floor planning, power planning, and timing closure)
- Strong skills in Design Verification and methodologies such as UVM
- Experience with Design for Test (DFT) techniques including boundary scan, scan insertion, and ATPG
- Expertise in Analog Layout (sensing, optimization, and mixed-signal design challenges)
- Working knowledge of RTL coding, synthesis, and static timing analysis (STA)
- Familiarity with EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, or similar
- Strong problem-solving ability, team collaboration, and attention to detail
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in System-on-Chip (SoC) integration is a plus
- Knowledge of Python, Perl, or TCL scripting is highly desirable
