Role Description The PCB Soldering Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur. This role involves performing through-hole and surface-mount soldering on printed circuit boards, following technical drawings, assembly instructions, and quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include inspecting components and PCBs, identifying defects, reworking solder joints, and ensuring correct placement and polarity of electronic parts.

The technician will collaborate with engineering and production teams to support prototyping and batch production, maintain soldering equipment and tools, and adhere to safety and ESD (electrostatic discharge) procedures. The role also includes documenting work, reporting issues in assembly or design,



and contributing to continuous improvement in production processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Equipment and practical Electricity basics relevant to PCB assembly.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Maintenance and Troubleshooting for electronic boards and components.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Electrical Engineering principles applied to circuit assembly and testing.
- Strong hands-on experience with manual and hot-air soldering for SMD and through-hole components, with the ability to work under magnification.
- Familiarity with reading circuit diagrams, assembly drawings, and using basic test instruments such as multimeters and continuity testers.
- Attention to detail, steady hand–eye coordination, and commitment to quality and safety standards, including ESD handling practices.
- Ability to work in office in Hosur, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and follow production schedules and instructions reliably.
- Diploma/ITI in Electronics, Electrical, or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience in PCB soldering; experience in drone or electronics manufacturing is an advantage.
