Job ObjectiveResponsible to lead the team of Supervisors and Operators, providing them with technical guidance to meet sectional production targets on regular basis with focus on manufacturing costs, rejections and quality produced. The position is also responsible to focus on continuous improvement activities for the section like 5S, Kaizen etc on a regular basis

Primary ResponsibilitiesFinancial Monitor cost and quantity of consumablesCustomer Take inputs from Production-In charge to get update on customer requirements and discuss the production plan

¢ Discuss any customer related issues with Production In-ChargeProcess¢ Undertake effective shift planning based on manpower allocation and inventory planning in coordination with Production In-charge to achieve production targets

¢ Send inventory requirements to Stores and Purchase department and follow up with stores and purchase to ensure timely receipt of material (Spares, Consumables)

¢ Coordinate with Maintenance function to ensure execution of the maintenance schedules

¢ Facilitate the die-casting production runs along with Engineering and Quality function

¢ Ensure optimal resource utilization and streamlining of activities within the shift

¢ Identify & implement initiatives/action steps to enhance overall equipment utilization & efficiency

¢ Identify & implement action steps to reduce losses and wastages during shift operation and ensure minimum rejection of components

¢ Responsibility for maintenance of equipments as per schedule





¢ Prepare daily and monthly production MIS reports to match actual performance vis- -vis the targets and report the same to Production In-charge

¢ Ensure adherence to Safety standards by all employees in the shift

¢ Responsible for End of Line Inspection

¢ Responsible for checking quality of special processes and checking for any wear and tearLearning & Development¢ Ensure timely completion of all stages of Performance Appraisal Process

¢ Ensure satisfactory worker relations in the section through fair and equitable administration

¢ Provide on the job training to the workers so that the work performance and the skill level improves

¢ Handle issues related to workers performance, safety, grievances etc in consultation with Production In-charge
