Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a P&C; Insurance Team Leader based in Mysore.

The Team

Leader will oversee a Property & Casualty insurance team, manage daily operations, allocate workloads, and ensure service levels and performance targets are met.

Responsibilities include guiding team members on policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claims-related processes while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. The role involves monitoring key metrics, conducting performance reviews, coaching team members, and resolving escalated customer issues.

The Team

Leader will collaborate with sales, finance, and customer service teams to support business growth,



improve processes, and enhance client satisfaction, while preparing regular reports for management on productivity and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Insurance knowledge, particularly in Property & Casualty products, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess solid Finance understanding related to premiums, pricing, profitability, and reporting.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Management abilities, including mentoring, performance monitoring, and workload planning.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and communication skills to handle queries, resolve escalations, and maintain client relationships.
- Candidates should possess Sales awareness, with experience supporting cross-selling, upselling, and meeting business targets.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C; insurance operations or team leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and insurance-related systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a energetic,



performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day Credit Control & Insurance Operations
- Handle Premium Collections, Cash Allocation, Reconciliation & Aged Debt
- Lead, coach and manage the Credit Control team
- Monitor Productivity, Quality, SLA & Team Performance
- Handle escalations and coordinate with Brokers, Underwriters, Finance Teams & Clients
- Prepare MIS Reports and drive process improvement initiatives
