Role- OT Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

PLC Programming

- Develop and maintain PLC programs using any standard programming language (Ladder, FBD, SCL, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret STL (Statement List) code.
- Troubleshoot PLC logic, hardware issues, and field device interactions.
- Perform on-site commissioning, testing, and system validation.

SCADA Development

- Design and develop SCADA projects including graphics, alarms, trends, and user interfaces.
- Implement and manage Alarm Management, Audit Trail, User Management, Reporting, and Licensing within SCADA systems.
- Configure and integrate SCADA with PLCs and third-party systems.

Communication Protocols

- Solid working knowledge of Ethernet, Modbus RTU/TCP, OPC UA, Profibus,and other industrial communication protocols.
- Integrate field devices and communication modules with PLC/SCADA systems.
- Diagnose and resolve communication-related issues.

Database & Reporting

- Work with databases (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent) for data logging, reporting, and trending.




- Troubleshoot database connectivity, queries, and data storage issues.
- Daily monitoring and management of SCADA, PLCs, HMIs, and field devices (switches, firewalls, routers, etc.).
- Execution of SOP-based preventive maintenance and daily health checks.
- Incident resolution and basic diagnostics.
- Coordination with L2/L3 teams and internal teams for escalations.
- Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and resolution of OT asset issues.
- Conduct first-level diagnostics and troubleshooting for OT-related alerts or failures.
- Maintain logs of all issues, vendor escalations, and resolution timelines.
- Assist in predictive analysis by identifying recurring issues or performance degradation signs.
