Job Title: Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead

Role Overview

We are seeking a senior Oracle NetSuite Functional SME / Implementation Lead to lead a brand-new, end-to-end Oracle NetSuite implementation.

The ideal candidate will have solid hands-on functional expertise across NetSuite Core Financials, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Project Management, and Project Accounting. The candidate will work closely with finance and accounting teams, business stakeholders, technical teams, implementation partners, and senior leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead discovery workshops and requirements-gathering sessions with finance, procurement, sales, project management, construction, and executive stakeholders.
- Analyze current-state and future-state business processes and conduct fit-gap assessments.
- Lead functional solution design and configuration across Core Financials, GL, AP, AR, P2P, O2C, Project Management, and Project Accounting.
- Configure NetSuite financial structures, subsidiaries, chart of accounts, accounting calendars, departments, locations, approval workflows, tax structures, roles, and financial controls.
- Design and implement processes supporting Indian GST, TDS, statutory compliance, invoicing, vendor payments, and financial reporting.
- Lead P2P processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, vendor invoices, three-way matching, approvals, payments, and supplier management.
- Lead O2C processes covering customer management, sales orders, billing, collections, receipts, revenue processing, and accounting.
- Design and implement project accounting processes including project budgets, project costs, billing, revenue, capitalization, and project profitability.
- Lead legacy-system data conversion activities, including data mapping, cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and migration of customers, vendors,



projects, financial data, assets, and opening balances.
- Prepare functional requirements, solution-design documents, configuration workbooks, process flows, test scripts, user guides, and training materials.
- Lead CRP, SIT, UAT, end-user training, defect tracking, and resolution.
- Develop and manage the production cutover plan and provide support during go-live and post-production stabilization.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, workflows, reports, dashboards, saved searches, SuiteApps, and NetSuite customizations.
- Evaluate NetSuite mobile and tablet capabilities for executives, project managers, site personnel, approvers, and field users.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, System Integrators, technical teams, implementation partners, and senior leadership.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate finance, procurement, billing, project accounting, and operational processes using NetSuite.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on Oracle NetSuite functional experience.
- Proven experience leading at least one brand-new, end-to-end NetSuite implementation or major ERP-to-NetSuite migration.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Core Financials
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Order-to-Cash (O2C)
- Project Management
- Project Accounting

- Experience with requirements gathering, discovery, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, CRP, SIT, UAT, data conversion, production cutover, and go-live.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Hands-on experience with Indian GST and TDS requirements.




- Excellent communication, documentation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a senior/lead functional capacity.
- Must be local to Hyderabad or willing to relocate.
- Must be comfortable working from the Hyderabad Financial District 3 days per week during the initial implementation phase.

Preferred Qualifications
- CA, Cost Accountant, MBA Finance, or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Experience in construction, real estate, engineering, infrastructure, or other project-based industries.
- Oracle NetSuite certifications.
- Experience with SuiteApps, NetSuite mobile/tablet solutions, and field-user applications.
- Knowledge of NetSuite integrations, SuiteCloud, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, REST/SOAP services, and data-migration tools.
- Experience with construction-specific processes such as:
- Project budgeting
- Subcontractor management
- Site procurement
- Progress billing
- Retention
- Project costing
- Project profitability

Work Model & Flexibility The position requires 3 days per week in the Hyderabad Financial District office during the initial implementation phase. Once the implementation is established and the project is progressing successfully, there may be an opportunity for remote work or reduced office presence, subject to business and project requirements.

For exceptionally strong candidates, flexibility around the initial office-presence requirement may be considered.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a hands-on NetSuite functional leader who can independently drive requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, data migration, cutover, and go-live activities.

The candidate should be comfortable working directly with finance leaders, business users, technical teams, implementation partners, and senior stakeholders while making functional decisions and delivering practical NetSuite solutions
