Job Summary

We are seeking a WebLogic and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) Administrator with 2-3 years of hands-on experience in middleware administration. The candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining WebLogic domains and OHS environments, performing deployments, patching, installations, and daily monitoring.

Responsibilities

- Perform daily health checks of WebLogic domains and OHS instances.

- Manage WebLogic domain creation, cluster configuration, and managed server setup.

- Perform WebLogic 14c and OHS installation, configuration, and setting setup.

- Execute Opatching (Oracle Patch Utility) for WebLogic and OHS to ensure environments are up-to-date and secure.

- Configure and manage datasources (JDBC) for database connectivity.

- Support application deployments (WAR, EAR and perform post-deployment verification.

- Perform start/stop operations for WebLogic managed servers and OHS services.

- Monitor JVM health, thread utilization, and server performance metrics.

- Troubleshoot deployment issues, startup failures, and application connectivity problems.

- Manage and update SSL certificates, keystores, and truststores in WebLogic and OHS.





- Maintain and monitor JMS modules, connection factories, and queues.

- Support patching activities, environment refreshes, and backup tasks.

- Coordinate with application, database, and network teams for issue resolution.

- Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), incident reports, and deployment documents.

Technical Skills Required

- Oracle WebLogic Server 12c/14c - installation, domain creation, clustering, deployments, JDBC/JMS configuration.

- Oracle HTTP Server (OHS) - installation, configuration, routing, and SSL setup.

- Experience in Opatching (WebLogic and OHS) for applying PSU and CPU patches.

- Knowledge of JDBC datasource creation and testing.

- Experience in cluster configuration and managed server tuning.

- Understanding of Unix/Linux commands for server monitoring and log analysis.

- Familiar with network concepts (load balancers, ports, proxy, DNS).
