Key Responsibilities

Oracle Database Administration

- Manage and administer Oracle Database environments (11g/12c/18c/19c/21c).

- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and migration activities.

- Monitor database health, performance, availability, and capacity planning.

- Perform backup and recovery using RMAN.

- Configure and manage Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard environments.

- Execute database cloning, refresh, and migration activities.

- Perform performance tuning at database, SQL, and operating system levels.

- Troubleshoot complex production incidents and provide root cause analysis (RCA).

- Ensure database security, compliance, and vulnerability remediation.

Oracle GoldenGate Administration

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle GoldenGate environments.

- Manage real-time replication between Production, DR, and reporting databases.

- Monitor Extract, Pump, and Replicat processes.

- Troubleshoot replication lag, data inconsistencies, and GoldenGate performance issues.

- Perform GoldenGate upgrades, patching, and migration.

- Support heterogeneous and homogeneous replication configurations.

- Validate data synchronization and replication health across environments.

- Coordinate with application teams during cutover and migration activities.

Operations & Support

- Provide L3 technical support for critical incidents and escalations.





- Participate in change management, release management, and maintenance activities.

- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks.

- Support audits and compliance requirements.

- Mentor L1/L2 engineers and provide technical guidance.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Certifications (Preferred)

- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP)

- Oracle Certified Master (OCM)

- Oracle GoldenGate Certification
