? Urgent Hiring: Oracle Database Upgrade & Migration Specialist ?

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Upgrade & Migration Specialist to lead a customer engagement involving the upgrade of an existing Oracle Database 11g environment to Oracle Database 19c.

? Key Responsibilities

- Assess existing Oracle 11g database environment, architecture & dependencies
- Prepare and execute detailed upgrade/migration strategy
- Perform compatibility & readiness assessments for Oracle 19c
- Identify deprecated/desupported features & resolve incompatibilities
- Execute migration activities across Dev, UAT & Production environments
- Conduct pre/post upgrade health checks & validate application connectivity
- Troubleshoot upgrade issues & optimize performance post-migration
- Prepare rollback & disaster recovery procedures
- Deliver technical documentation, runbooks & knowledge transfer

? Mandatory Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 11g & 19c




- Proven track record in Oracle upgrades/migrations (11g → 19c preferred)
- Expertise in DBA fundamentals: ASM, RMAN, Data Pump, PL/SQL, Backup/Recovery, Performance Tuning
- Experience with Oracle Upgrade Assistant / AutoUpgrade tools
- Knowledge of Data Guard / GoldenGate for high availability
- Strong Linux/Unix & shell scripting skills

? Experience & Certifications
- 6+ years of Oracle DBA experience
- 3–5 years in upgrade/migration projects (11g → 19c strongly preferred)
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) / Oracle 19c certification desirable

? Soft Skills
- Strong analytical & troubleshooting ability
- Independent working style with excellent communication skills
- Ability to coordinate with customer technical teams & support during cutover
