CTC Range: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for skilled and experienced Optical Fiber Technicians to join our team for projects across Delhi. The selected candidates will be responsible for the installation, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, and restoration of Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) networks.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, lay, and maintain Optical Fiber Cable (OFC) networks.
- Perform optical fiber splicing, jointing, termination, and testing.
- Identify and rectify fiber faults and ensure timely restoration of network services.
- Conduct OTDR testing and analyze test results.
- Perform optical power testing using an Optical Power Meter and other relevant tools.
- Handle fiber cable joint closures, patch panels, ODFs, and other fiber network components.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Attend network breakdowns and emergency faults as per project requirements.
- Coordinate with the Network Coordinator and Network Engineer for fault resolution.
- Maintain daily work reports, test reports, and restoration records.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials.
- Follow all safety procedures and quality standards during field operations.
- Support installation, commissioning, expansion, and maintenance of optical fiber networks.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- ITI, Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification in Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Practical experience in Optical Fiber Cable installation and maintenance.




- Knowledge of fiber splicing, jointing, and termination.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Fusion Splicing Machine
- OTDR
- Optical Power Meter
- Visual Fault Locator (VFL)
- Fiber Cleaver and other fiber tools
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot Optical Fiber Cable faults.
- Basic knowledge of ODF, patch panels, and fiber network infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently in field conditions.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Candidate must own a two-wheeler/bike and hold a valid driving licence.

Experience Preferred Experience: 1 to 5 years in Optical Fiber Cable (OFC), FTTH, ISP, Telecom, or Network Maintenance.

Candidates with hands-on experience in fiber splicing, OTDR testing, fault restoration, and preventive maintenance will be preferred.

Compensation

Monthly CTC: ₹15,000 to ₹25,000

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience, technical skills, hands-on expertise, and overall suitability for the role.

Mandatory Requirement

- The candidate must have their own bike/two-wheeler for field movement across Delhi.
- A valid driving licence is mandatory.

Preferred Candidate

- Experience in Telecom, ISP, FTTH, or OFC projects.
- Strong hands-on experience in fiber splicing and testing.
- Ability to attend field faults and perform restoration activities.

- Willingness to travel and work at different project locations across Delhi.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
