Role Description The Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai.

The Operations

Manager will oversee daily operational activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget across relevant service lines. This role includes coordinating project schedules, managing resources and personnel, and maintaining compliance with company standards and industry regulations.

Manager will collaborate with regional teams and partner offices, optimize processes for efficiency, and track performance metrics to support continuous improvement. The role also involves stakeholder communication, reporting to senior leadership, and supporting client relationship management.

Qualifications





- Demonstrated experience in operations management, preferably within energy, civil, marine, or geotechnical sectors.
- Robust skills in project planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
- Ability to develop and implement operational processes, policies, and performance metrics.
- Understanding of safety standards and compliance requirements, ideally including exposure to industrial rope access or similar technical operations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with common office and project management software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations management, business administration, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Proven ability to work on-site in a dynamic environment in Chennai and adapt to changing operational needs.
- 10+ years experience in industrial operations.
- Exp related to oil & gas, ports, steel, railway, heavy engineering.
- Strong knowledge of IRATA rope access. Experience managing multi-site, multi-disciplinary teams in high-hazard environment.
- Strong site and contract management acumen, Proficient in RAMS, PTW, site assessments & emergency procedures.
- Willing to travel to sites across India for job assessments, client meetings.
