We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager from the Hotel / Restaurant Industry to manage our existing outlets and support the operational setup and launch of upcoming outlets in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in restaurant/hotel operations, team management, manpower sourcing, kitchen coordination, and day-to-day operational management.

The candidate will act as a key link between management, Master Chefs, Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Helpers, Service Teams, and other operational staff to ensure smooth and efficient outlet operations.

Key Responsibilities

Outlet & Operations Management

- Manage the day-to-day operations of all existing other outlets and also in Bangalore.
- Take responsibility for operational setup and launch of upcoming outlets.
- Regularly visit outlets and monitor operations, staff performance, customer service, and efficiency.
- Ensure all outlets follow company SOPs, service standards, hygiene requirements, and operational guidelines.
- Identify operational problems and implement practical solutions.
- Coordinate between management and outlet teams for smooth execution.
- Develop and implement operational processes and SOPs.
- Prepare regular operational reports for management.

Kitchen & Restaurant Operations

- Work closely with Master Chefs, Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Helpers, and Service Staff.
- Have basic practical knowledge of kitchen operations and restaurant workflows.
- Understand kitchen manpower requirements and ensure adequate staffing.
- Coordinate with chefs regarding staffing, shifts, workflow, and operational challenges.
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
- Monitor hygiene, cleanliness, discipline, and operational standards.
- Identify kitchen bottlenecks and coordinate solutions.

Manpower Sourcing & Recruitment

- Source manpower primarily from the Hotel / Restaurant / Hospitality Industry.
- Maintain a strong network of chefs, cooks, kitchen helpers, service staff, supervisors, and other hospitality professionals.
- Plan manpower requirements for existing and upcoming outlets.
- Coordinate interviews, selection, onboarding, and deployment of employees.




- Maintain backup manpower resources for attrition and emergency requirements.
- Handle recruitment requirements quickly whenever an outlet requires additional staff.

Team Management

- Manage and supervise a team of approximately 18–20 employees.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor daily performance.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower during peak hours.
- Train, guide, and motivate team members.
- Handle staff issues, absenteeism, conflicts, and performance concerns.
- Maintain discipline and a positive working environment.
- Coordinate with management/HR regarding employee-related requirements.

New Outlet Launch

- Support management in launching new outlets in Bangalore.
- Prepare manpower plans for new outlets.
- Source and recruit chefs, cooks, service staff, and other required employees.
- Assist with staff training and operational setup before opening.
- Ensure the outlet is operationally ready before launch.
- Coordinate with chefs, vendors, service teams, and management during the launch phase.

Management & Operational Coordination

- Act as the operational bridge between Head Office, management, outlets, chefs, kitchen teams, and service staff.
- Communicate management decisions clearly to ground-level teams.
- Facilitate smooth execution of daily operations.
- Monitor procurement, inventory, maintenance, housekeeping, and other operational requirements.
- Escalate major operational issues to management promptly.
- Ensure each outlet has the required manpower, resources, and supplies.

Requirements

- 3–5+ years of experience in Hotel / Restaurant / Hospitality Operations.
- Hotel/Restaurant industry experience is mandatory.
- Previous experience managing restaurant/hotel outlets.
- Experience managing a team of 18–20+ employees.




- Strong manpower sourcing network within the hotel/restaurant industry.
- Ability to recruit chefs, cooks, kitchen helpers, service staff, and supervisors.
- Basic practical knowledge of kitchen operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with Master Chefs, Chefs, Cooks, and ground-level staff.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel between outlets in Bangalore.
- Hands-on approach to operations.

Language Requirements

- Kannada — Mandatory
- Tamil — Preferred / Strong Advantage
- English — Basic working proficiency preferred

The candidate must be comfortable communicating with both management and ground-level employees. Candidates who cannot communicate in Kannada should not apply.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Preference will be given to candidates who:

- Have worked in hotels, restaurants, QSRs, cafés, cloud kitchens, or hospitality chains.
- Have managed multiple outlets.
- Have experience opening current restaurants/outlets.
- Have an established manpower network within the hospitality industry.
- Have strong relationships with chefs, cooks, and restaurant staff.
- Are hands-on and comfortable working directly with ground-level teams.
- Have experience managing 14–15 or more employees.
