Yatri Sathi is West Bengal's government-backed, open-network ride-hailing platform, built to give drivers a fairer deal and riders a reliable, transparent service. We operate across Kolkata's busiest transit hubs and are scaling fast.

This is a chance to own real operations on a platform serving lakhs of riders, not a back-office role.

The Role

We're looking for an Operations Lead to drive our Special Zone operations and BTL activation on the ground. You'll lead a team of 15+ field executives, own daily execution across zones, and work directly with senior leadership. This is a first leadership role built for someone who wants ownership early and is willing to be hands-on in the field, not behind a desk.

What You'll Own

- Special Zone operations: Run day-to-day field operations across our special zones — managing executive deployment, shift coverage, and on-ground execution.
- BTL activation: Plan and execute below-the-line activities on the ground, ensuring strong visibility and engagement across zones.
- Team leadership: Lead, motivate and roster a team of 15+ field executives — owning their daily performance, attendance and discipline.
- Reporting: Track and report ground performance to leadership crisply and on time; flag issues early.
- Ground problem-solving:



Be the first responder for on-ground blockers and keep operations running smoothly through peak periods.
- Driver relationships: Ensure all field interactions are handled with professionalism and respect for our driver-partners.

What We're Looking For

- Engineer or MBA (0–2 years experience) — freshers with solid drive are encouraged to apply.
- Comfortable working on the ground and in the field, including shift-based hours.
- Strong people skills — you'll manage a sizable team and interact with drivers daily.
- Good problem solving ability.
- Basic data comfort — able to read a dashboard, track numbers in Excel, and report against goals.
- Owner mindset: you take a goal and make it your problem to solve.
- Fluency in Bengali and Hindi; working English for reporting.
- Two-wheeler / valid license is a plus (field mobility across zones).
