We are looking for an experienced, execution-oriented Operations Lead & Chief Agronomist to establish and manage our contract farming networks, multi-crop seed production, and commercial grain procurement across high-potential clusters in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the entire crop lifecycle across multiple seasons, coordinating with farmer groups/FPOs, handling government seed compliance, and supervising third-party processing mill operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Farmer Cluster Aggregation: Identify and onboard progressive farmers and local Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) for multi-crop production across the year (Rabi cash crops, summer green manure lines, and premium Kharif staples).
- Multi-Crop Management: Supervise year-round crop rotations including short-window winter lines (Early Potato, Toria oilseeds, Rabi Maize, Desi Pulses), summer Dhaincha seed multiplication, and premium aromatic/heritage Paddy lines (Katarni, Kala Namak).
- Seed Purity & Compliance: Maintain strict field isolation distances, run roguing operations, and handle documentation, inspections, and sampling for the State Seed Certification Agency (SSCA) and central SATHI Portal workflows.




- Post-Harvest Quality & Milling: Run on-site self-certification quality checks (moisture monitoring, purity boards, in-house germination tests). Supervise raw harvest transport and custom processing runs at third-party local mills (cleaning, grading, sorting).
- Logistics & Inventory Control: Oversee truck dispatches, monitor weighbridge inputs/outputs, manage regional storage facilities, and eliminate inventory leaks.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- B.Sc / M.Sc in Agriculture, Agronomy, or equivalent field.
- 5 to 10 years of solid on-ground experience in contract farming, seed multiplication, or commercial grain procurement in Bihar and/or Uttar Pradesh.
- Deep knowledge of seed laws (Seeds Act, 1966) and the practical handling of the SATHI portal and SSCA certification rules.
- Strong existing network with active FPOs, local progressive farmers, and regional custom agri-processing mills.
- Solid vernacular communication skills (Hindi and regional dialects) and ability to manage field operations independently with minimal daily physical supervision.
