TCS is hiring for Network L3 (DNS / DHCP) Position for Chennai Location.

Interview date : 29 -Aug-26

Please find the below JD

- Solid handson experience with Efficient IP SOLID server for DNS, DHCP & IPAM Deep understanding of DNS (authoritative/recursive servers, zone files, forwarding, ACLs, GSLB, DNSSEC)

- Deploy, configure, and administer EfficientIP SOLIDserver DNS/DHCP/IPAM services across enterprise environments
- Manage DNS zones, records, forwarding rules, DNS ACLs, Anycast-based deployments, and DNS security controls
- Expertise in DHCP management, including scope design, failover, lease policies, and DHCP option sets
- Experience with IPAM (subnet hierarchy, IP lifecycle management, automation templates, API-driven provisioning)
- Understanding of network routing protocols, VLAN design,



STP, L3 interfaces, and troubleshooting L2/L3 issues

- Knowledge of security concepts including DNS firewall, RPZ, threat protection, and DoH/DoT considerations
- Practical experience integrating DDI with Active Directory, Firewalls, DNS proxies, Cloud DNS
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, NTP, DNS protocols, DHCP broadcast/relay behavior

- Handson experience with API automation (REST, SOAP, Python, Ansible) for DDI workflows
- Experience supporting datacenter DDI deployments, migrations, and enterprise network expansions
- Ability to prepare and maintain network documentation, IPAM databases, standards, and SOPs

- Good understanding of ITIL processes, incident resolution, change & release management
