Role Description The Omni Sports Advisor is a part-time, on-site role based in Gurugram, focused on delivering an outstanding experience to sports enthusiasts across in-store and online channels. In this role, the advisor engages with customers to understand their sports interests and needs, provides product recommendations, and supports them in choosing the right equipment and apparel.

Advisor helps maintain product displays, ensures stock availability, and contributes to merchandising and store cleanliness.



They also assist with online orders, click-and-collect services, and digital tools that connect the store and online experience. The role involves working collaboratively with teammates, sharing sports knowledge, and promoting Decathlon’s customer philosophy of “satisfied or satisfied.”

Qualifications

- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and engage confidently with diverse customers.
- Passion for sport and willingness to share sports knowledge and experiences to guide customers in their choices.
- Basic sales and merchandising skills, including product presentation, stock replenishment, and attention to store layout and cleanliness.
- Comfort using digital tools and systems to support omni-channel services such as online orders, inventory checks, and click-and-collect.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram with a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Team-oriented mindset, openness to feedback, and readiness to take responsibility and learn from experience.
- Prior retail or customer-facing experience is an advantage, but a strong motivation to learn and grow in a sports-focused environment is essential.
