Role Description The Okta IAM Developer at CAELION will design, implement, and maintain identity and access management solutions using Okta, with a strong focus on Okta Workflows, SCIM and REST APIs, and modern authentication protocols such as SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0. This full-time, in office role in Hyderabad involves developing and integrating custom IAM workflows, building automation for user lifecycle management, and creating secure, scalable integrations with SaaS and on-premises applications. The developer will use Python and Node.js to build microservices or utilities that connect identity platforms with enterprise systems, troubleshoot integration issues, and optimize performance and reliability.





Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with cybersecurity and architecture teams, translating business and security requirements into technical designs, documenting solutions and best practices, and supporting ongoing enhancements in an AI-first consulting environment.

Qualifications

- Strong identity and access management skills, including Okta configuration, Okta Workflows design, and experience with SCIM and REST APIs.
- Proficiency with authentication and authorization standards such as SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth 2.0.
- Hands-on programming experience with Python and Node.js, including building integrations, automation scripts, and microservices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and role-based access control within enterprise environments.
- Experience integrating IAM solutions with SaaS platforms, cloud services, and on-premises applications in complex IT ecosystems.
- Ability to analyze requirements, design scalable architectures, and document technical solutions clearly for diverse stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional, on-site teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field; relevant IAM or Okta certifications are an advantage.
- Exposure to AI-driven or automation-focused consulting environments is beneficial.
