Key Responsibilities
- Implement company safety policies, procedures and EHS standards at the workplace.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits and workplace risk assessments.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor compliance with PPE requirements, safe work procedures and permit-to-work systems.
- Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for employees, contractors and visitors.
- Investigate accidents, near misses and incidents and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident registers and statutory documentation.
- Monitor fire-fighting equipment, emergency exits, alarms and other emergency-response systems.
- Conduct and support emergency drills, fire drills and evacuation exercises.
- Ensure protected material handling, housekeeping and workplace practices.
- Monitor contractor safety and ensure compliance with site safety requirements.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, HR and other departments on safety-related matters.
- Support implementation of occupational health and environmental safety initiatives.
- Track closure of safety observations, incidents and audit findings.
- Display safety notices, conduct awareness campaigns and promote a strong safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory safety requirements and company standards.
- Assist during internal,
external and regulatory safety inspections/audits.

Qualification & Experience
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Safety, Engineering or a relevant discipline.
- Recognized certification in Industrial/Occupational Safety will be preferred.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Safety/EHS, preferably in a manufacturing, warehouse, construction or industrial environment.
- Working knowledge of applicable safety legislation and statutory requirements.
