Role Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer with a mechanical engineering background to expand our B2B footprint across industrial OEMs, panel builders, packagers, and turnkey contractors. In this role, you will be responsible for technical solution selling, account management, and business development for fire pump packages, industrial pumps, diesel/electric drive engines, and specialized pump control systems.

Key Responsibilities

- OEM Account Acquisition & Management: Identify, target, and build strong strategic relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), skid packagers, system integrators, and industrial panel builders.
- Technical Solution Selling: Conduct technical discussions and presentations to map client specifications against our product portfolio (Centrifugal Pumps, UL/FM Fire Pumps, Diesel Engines, Jockey Pumps, and Control Panels).
- Spec-In & Consultant Liaison: Engage with MEP consultants, architects, and project engineers to ensure Arch Enterprises’ pump and engine specifications are written into initial project designs and tenders.
- Tendering & Proposal Management: Prepare detailed technical offers, commercial quotes, compliance statements, and bill of quantities (BOQ)



for industrial and fire safety tenders.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with internal technical, dispatch, and service teams to ensure precise order execution, factory testing compliance, and timely site delivery.
- Market Intelligence & Territory Expansion: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and upcoming industrial projects across key regional manufacturing hubs.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related industrial disciplines.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven technical sales experience in industrial pumps, valves, diesel engines, fire protection systems, or industrial rotating equipment.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Strong working knowledge of centrifugal, multi-stage, and fire pump assemblies.
- Familiarity with diesel engine operation, electric drive motors, and control panel logic (star-delta, DOL, VFD, auto-start controllers).
- Understanding of fire safety norms (NFPA 20, TAC, NBC guidelines) and UL Listed / FM Approved standards is highly desirable.
- Core Competencies: B2B technical negotiation, client relationship building, technical proposal creation, and effective presentation skills.
- Mobility: Willingness to undertake local industrial visits (MIDC hubs) and regional travel for client meetings.
