We are seeking an experienced OCI Administrator & Oracle WebLogic Administrator with 5+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience and strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and WebLogic Middleware Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing OCI environments, automating infrastructure deployments, maintaining high availability architectures, and supporting Oracle WebLogic application servers in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities:

OCI Infrastructure Administration

- Manage and administer Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) components including Tenancies, Compartments, VCNs, Subnets, Security Lists, Firewalls, and Networking.
- Provision and manage Compute, Storage, File Storage Service (FSS), Block Volumes, and Object Storage.
- Perform OCI infrastructure installation, configuration, migrations, patching, performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain Terraform scripts for infrastructure provisioning and application deployments.
- Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions in OCI environments.




- Perform certificate renewals and security-related tasks across OCI infrastructure.
- Apply OS patches, upgrades, and security vulnerability remediation.
- Manage system performance, resource optimization, CPU, memory, and storage allocation.
- Work with automation tools such as Ansible and YAML-based configurations.
- Utilize Git repositories for version control and infrastructure code management.
- Support hybrid-cloud and IaaS environments, including networking, monitoring, logging, and identity management.
- Participate in Incident, Change, Problem, Capacity, and Configuration Management processes following ITIL standards.

Oracle WebLogic Administration:

- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle WebLogic Server (11g, 12c, and 14c).
- Deploy and support enterprise middleware applications on WebLogic platforms.
- Apply WebLogic patches, service packs, and security updates.
- Administer and monitor WebLogic domains, clusters, managed servers, and node managers.
- Perform performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze Thread Dumps and Heap Dumps for application performance issues.
- Configure LDAP integration and Security Realms.
- Develop automation and administration scripts.




- Use WebLogic utilities such as WebLogic.Admin and WebLogic.Deployer.
- Integrate WebLogic environments with HTTP/Web Servers.
- Troubleshoot deployment issues related to JAR, WAR, EAR, and application components.

Required Skills:

- 5+ years of Linux/Unix Administration experience.
- 3+ years of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administration.
- Strong knowledge of OCI networking, storage, compute, and security services.
- Hands-on expertise in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with Ansible and YAML.
- Oracle WebLogic Administration experience (11g/12c/14c).
- Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Understanding of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architectures.
- Exposure to cloud monitoring, logging, and identity management solutions.
- Valuable understanding of ITIL processes and service management.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Exadata Infrastructure patching on Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC).
- Knowledge of Tanium platform.
- Experience in managing OS and application security vulnerabilities.
- Oracle Cloud and WebLogic certifications are a plus.
