Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for helping patients regain independence in daily activities through therapeutic interventions, rehabilitation programs, and patient education. The therapist will work closely with doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

- Assess patients’ physical, psychological, and cognitive conditions.
- Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Help patients improve their ability to perform daily living and work-related activities.
- Provide therapy for patients recovering from injury, surgery, neurological disorders, or developmental conditions.
- Train patients in the use of assistive devices and adaptive techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate patient records and therapy documentation.




- Educate patients and caregivers about treatment plans and home exercises.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective rehabilitation outcomes.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with patients of all age groups.
- Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in neurological rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, or post-surgical rehabilitation.
- Experience working in a multispecialty hospital workplace.
