Role Description The Nutritionist at Kinetic Age will provide remote, individualized nutrition guidance to senior clients, aligning dietary plans with their fitness and health goals. In this full-time role, the Nutritionist will assess client health histories, current eating patterns, and lifestyle factors to design customized nutrition plans that support mobility, strength, weight management, and recovery. Daily responsibilities include conducting virtual consultations, developing and updating meal plans, offering ongoing nutritional counseling, and educating clients on healthy eating for aging well.
The Nutritionist will collaborate closely with personal trainers and rehab specialists to ensure integrated care, monitor client progress,
and adjust recommendations based on evolving needs and medical considerations. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation, staying current with evidence-based nutrition practices, and contributing educational content for client resources and programs.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dietetics and Nutrition, with the ability to design secure, evidence-based nutrition plans for older adults.
- Skills in Nutritional Counseling and Nutrition Education to support behavior change and empower clients to maintain healthy eating habits.
- Experience in Weight Management, including developing practical strategies for weight loss, maintenance, or gain as appropriate for senior populations.
- Relevant degree or certification in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related health field; Registered Dietitian or equivalent credential is preferred.
- Experience working with senior clients or in geriatric, rehabilitation, or preventive health settings is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills for virtual consultations, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language.
- Comfort with remote work, including proficiency in online consultation platforms, electronic records, and digital collaboration tools.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a full-time caseload while tracking outcomes and follow-ups.
