Position Summary The NPD Engineer is responsible for developing and integrating locomotive subsystems, ensuring seamless interfaces across mechanical, electrical, and control systems. The role requires strong systems thinking, customer-focused engineering, and expertise in Siemens NX (UG NX) and Teamcenter. The engineer will drive product development activities from concept through validation while proactively resolving integration and interface challenges.
Technical Skills
- Expert proficiency in Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Expert proficiency in Teamcenter PLM tools.
- Robust knowledge of mechanical design, GD&T;, engineering calculations, and design validation.
- Experience with product development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Knowledge of railway, locomotive, or rolling stock systems is highly preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in New Product Development, Systems Engineering, or Locomotive Engineering.
- Experience in transportation, rail, heavy engineering, or industrial equipment sectors preferred.
