Responsibilities 1.

Product Development and Formulation

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D;, marketing, and production, to develop current food products or improve existing ones.
- Create and modify product formulations to meet taste, texture, nutritional, and cost requirements.
- Conduct research on ingredient functionality, sensory attributes, and market trends to inform product development. 2.

Supplier and Contract Manufacturer Management:
- Identify and evaluate potential contract manufacturers and suppliers to ensure they meet the brand's quality and safety standards.
- Establish strong working relationships with contract manufacturers, providing technical guidance and support throughout the production process.
- Conduct audits and assessments of contract manufacturers to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and brand requirements. 3.

Quality Assurance

- Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor the entire production process, from raw materials to finished products.
- Perform regular inspections and testing of products, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure they meet specifications.
- Address any quality issues or deviations,



investigating root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions. 4.

Regulatory Compliance

- Stay up-to-date with food safety regulations, labelling requirements, and industry standards to ensure all products are compliant.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory documentation, such as ingredient lists, nutritional labelling, and allergen declarations. Prepare costing sheet, BOM, Technical Specification, HACCP process flow. 5.

Process Improvement

- Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for optimization, cost savings, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to implement process changes and enhancements that align with the brand's goals. 6.

Training and Knowledge Transfer

- Train contract manufacturer personnel on product specifications, quality standards, and best practices to ensure consistent production.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in food science, technology, and manufacturing practices and share knowledge within the team. 7.

Problem Solving

- Act as a technical resource for troubleshooting production issues, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing solutions to maintain product quality and consistency. 8.

Documentation and Reporting

- Maintain accurate and organized records of product development, production processes, quality control tests, and regulatory documentation.
- Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, quality metrics, and project status updates.
