Role Description This is a full time, on-site Nonprofit role based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India. The individual in this role will support the planning and execution of community development programs, including coordinating training sessions, workshops, and outreach activities.
Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with community members and partner organizations, collecting and organizing program data, assisting in monitoring and evaluation, and preparing reports and presentations. The role may involve supporting fundraising and advocacy efforts, maintaining accurate documentation, and contributing to communication materials that highlight program outcomes. The position requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure that initiatives are aligned with VerVida Foundation’s mission and deliver measurable impact.
The candidate has to deliver and aware the students from under privilege community about cancer and the benefits of early detection thorough out 850 schools of district. They shall be responsible for coordination, sessions and delivering the company's stationery to them.
Qualifications
- Experience in community development, social work, or nonprofit program coordination, with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong skills in project planning, organization, and time management to support multiple initiatives and meet program deadlines.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret basic program and community data, and prepare clear reports and summaries for internal and external use.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in local languages used in Ludhiana and surrounding areas is an asset.
- Comfort working on-site in community settings, including occasional field visits, events, and workshops.
- Demonstrated commitment to social impact, economic inclusion, and working with underserved communities.
- Proficiency with standard office and collaboration tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, email, and video conferencing platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, development studies, education, public administration, or a related field; relevant experience in the nonprofit sector is highly beneficial.
