Role Description The News Intern role is an on-site internship based in Noida. In this position, the intern will assist with gathering information, conducting basic research, and supporting the newsroom team in developing news stories. Day-to-day tasks may include drafting news copy, helping prepare scripts for broadcast, monitoring news sources, and contributing to content planning under the guidance of editors and reporters.

The intern will also help with coordinating rundown schedules, supporting studio and field teams, and learning the fundamentals of broadcasting and news production.



This internship is designed to provide practical experience in a skilled news environment and build core skills for a future career in media.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong News Writing and Writing skills to support clear, accurate, and engaging news content.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with newsroom teams and interacting professionally within a broadcast environment.
- Candidates should possess Broadcasting skills or an interest in television news production, including basic understanding of on-air formats and studio operations.
- Candidates should possess Research skills to gather information from credible sources and verify facts for news stories.
- Enrollment in or completion of a program in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Noida, manage time in a fast-paced environment, and adapt to changing news priorities.
