Role & responsibilities

- Develop new sofa, seating, and furniture designs based on market trends and customer requirements.

- Generate new product ideas and concepts for furniture.

- Create 2D drawings and 3D models using design software such as AutoCAD/SolidWorks.

- Develop and modify prototypes and ensure design feasibility for production.

- Coordinate with Production, R&D;, Purchase, and Quality teams for product development.

- Select suitable materials, fabrics, foam, wood and metal components for new products.

- Improve existing products based on customer feedback, quality and production requirements.

- Ensure new products meet design, quality, comfort and functionality standards.

- Support the complete NPD process from concept to final production

Requirements

- 26 years of experience in Furniture Product Design / Current Product Development.





- Experience in sofa, seating, upholstery or furniture design is preferred.

- Strong ability to generate new product ideas and convert concepts into designs.

- Knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks / SketchUp or similar design tools.

- Good understanding of furniture materials, manufacturing and prototype development.

- Knowledge of ergonomics, dimensions, comfort and functionality.

- Ability to work with Production, R&D; and other teams.

- Creative thinking with good problem-solving and product development skills.

- Candidates from furniture manufacturing / sofa / upholstery / seating backgrounds will be preferred
