Qualification: CA / CA Inter / ACCA / MBA Finance / relevant finance qualification
Key Responsibilities
- Experience in NBFC accounting, revenue assurance and financial reporting.
- Review and accounting of interest income, processing fees, foreclosure charges, penalties, commission and other NBFC revenue streams.
- Solid understanding of Ind AS 109 – Financial Instruments, including EIR, loan accounting, interest accruals and ECL.
- Exposure to Ind AS 115 – Revenue Recognition and assessment of revenue contracts.
- Perform revenue reconciliation, variance analysis, ledger scrutiny and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review loan portfolio, receivables, provisions, write-offs and recoveries.
- Support financial statement audit/assurance assignments for NBFC and financial services clients.
- Test key controls around revenue, lending, collections and financial reporting.
- Identify accounting gaps, process risks and control deficiencies and recommend remediation.
- Prepare audit/assurance working papers and coordinate with client finance and operations teams.
