Job Summary A strategic leader responsible for the overall management and delivery of all projects within the organization. This role involves establishing and maintaining project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. The successful candidate will lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards.

Will be a key liaison between the App IT and other business units, translating business needs into effective project plans and solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive project management framework, including Agile methodology, processes, tools, and templates.
- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Establish and enforce project governance standards, including risk management, change control, and quality assurance.
- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Align IT project portfolio with the organization's strategic goals and priorities.
- Strategic Leadership & Governance: Provide regular and transparent reporting on the status of the entire project portfolio to senior leadership.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of IT project managers.
- Team Leadership & Development: Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify professional development opportunities for team members.
- Team Leadership & Development: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the PMO.
- Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and onboard new project managers as needed.
- Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of all IT projects from initiation to closure.
- Project Portfolio Management: Prioritize and allocate resources (human and financial) across multiple projects.
- Project Portfolio Management: Monitor project performance, identify potential risks,



and implement mitigation strategies.
- Project Portfolio Management: Ensure effective communication and collaboration among project teams, stakeholders, and business leaders.
- Project Portfolio Management: Ensure the team is updating boards on a daily basis. Weekly meetings to be conducted for the same.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for IT project-related communications to all levels of the organization.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts and project details into clear, concise, and business-focused information.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve PMO processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and project success rates.
- Process Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and current technologies in project management. Example: AI.
- Process Improvement: Implement and manage project management software and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Prior & relevant experience in Mobile Apps and Website domain across multiple operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of mobile technologies (Android is a must; iOS is a plus).
- Familiarity with Agile project management practices.
- Good understanding of app development frameworks and standards.
- Exposure to ITIL practices is a plus.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in IT project management, with a strong focus on large-scale, complex projects.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in a leadership role managing a team of project managers or a PMO.
- Work Experience: Proven track record of successfully delivering a portfolio of IT projects on time and on budget.
