Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Medical Coder with 3+ years of experience in multi-specialty surgery coding within the healthcare domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in outpatient surgery, IVR, and General Surgery coding, with CPC/CPMA certification. Strong attention to detail, coding accuracy, compliance knowledge, and communication skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

- Following all project SOPs, protocols and coding guidelines accurately.
- Completing assigned audits while maintaining defined quality standards.
- Achieving daily quality and productivity targets.
- Maintaining productivity, clarification and other process-related logs accurately.
- Identifying coding issues and escalating them to the Manager/TL for resolution.
- Responding promptly to Manager/TL communications and clarification requirements.
- Identifying process trends and supporting effective problem resolution.
- Ensuring adherence to HIPAA, OIG, and other applicable compliance requirements.

Requirements

- Holding 3+ years of overall coding experience with strong exposure to multi-specialty surgery coding.
- Having hands-on experience in outpatient surgery, IVR, and General Surgery coding.




- Possessing CPC or CPMA certification.
- Holding a Life Science or Paramedical degree.
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of medical coding processes, SOPs and quality standards.
- Possessing positive written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrating strong computer proficiency and attention to detail.
- Having auditing and denial management experience will be an added advantage.
