Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using Tandem Cobol.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to best practices.
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.




- Participate in system testing and user acceptance testing to validate application functionality.
- Document technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals for developed applications.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in mainframe technologies, particularly Tandem Cobol.
- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical challenges and project tasks.
