Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Model Based Application Software Developer to join our Electric Vehicle software development team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating application software using Model-Based Development (MBD) methodologies for automotive embedded systems. The role involves working closely with system architects, controls engineers, software developers, and validation teams to deliver high-quality software solutions for EV applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop automotive embedded application software using MATLAB/Simulink and Model-Based Development methodologies.
- Design and implement control algorithms for Electric Vehicle subsystems such as:

- Battery Management System (BMS)

- Vehicle Control Unit (VCU)

- Motor Control

- Charging Systems

- Energy Management Functions

- Thermal Management Systems
- Generate production code using tools such as Embedded Coder/TargetLink.
- Perform model reviews, static analysis, model compliance checks, and software quality assessments.
- Develop software requirements, detailed designs, and traceability according to Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety standards.
- Support software integration on target ECUs and troubleshooting during vehicle/system testing.
- Create and maintain MIL, SIL, and HIL test environments.
- Collaborate with system engineering teams for requirement analysis and software architecture definition.
- Ensure compliance with MISRA C, ISO 26262, and ASPICE development processes.
- Participate in defect analysis, root cause investigation,



and software issue resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and toolchains.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in: Electronics Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Mechatronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Computer Science/ Related engineering discipline
- 5+ years of experience in Automotive Embedded Software Development.
- Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink Model-Based Development.
- Experience with automatic code generation tools such as:

- Embedded Coder

- TargetLink
- Solid programming skills in Embedded C.
- Good understanding of real-time embedded systems and microcontroller-based development.
