Mobile Front-End Engineer (Flutter), – Mumbai / Hybrid Department: Marketing Location: Mumbai, WFO Positions: 2 What Is This Job About We're looking for a Flutter engineer who cares about the details — smooth animations, fast startup, screens that behave correctly on a patchy 3G connection. You'll own our mobile applications end to end on the client side: architecture, implementation, performance, release, and the support that follows.

This is a hands-on, front-end-focused role. You'll work alongside backend engineers, product managers, designers, QA, and support, and you'll have real ownership of the mobile architecture rather than just picking up tickets.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and ship features in Flutter and Dart across Android and iOS.
- Own the mobile architecture: modular, reusable, scalable, and maintainable code that stays that way as the product grows
- Integrate RESTful APIs and manage complex asynchronous data flows reliably, including offline and error states
- Translate designs into responsive, fluid interfaces using Flutter's animation and rendering capabilities.
- Own client-side performance: startup time, rendering, memory footprint, and overall efficiency. Use monitoring tooling to find issues before users do.
- Implement and maintain client-side security controls appropriate for a financial-grade application
- Publish, maintain, and support releases on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, including staged rollouts and crash triage.
- Contribute across the full software development lifecycle — requirements, design, implementation, code review, testing, release,



and support.
- Partner with backend engineers on API contracts, and with designers and QA to ensure both code quality and product quality meet a high bar.

Key Skills
- EDUCATION: BTech / BE (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- EXPERIENCE: min.5years (and more) of professional software development experience, with substantial time in Flutter.
- MUST HAVE: Professional working proficiency in English, written and spoken
- MUST HAVE: High level of Ownership, great Work Ethic, with an analytical mindset, Comfortable handling a high volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
- MUST HAVE: Collaborative within a team, and equally effective working independently with moderate supervision.
- MUST HAVE: Need to Care about the craft; clean code, thoughtful reviews, and products that hold up under real-world use.
- CORE SKILLS: Strong hands-on experience with Flutter and Dart
- CORE SKILLS: Deep working knowledge of Clean Architecture, the Repository Pattern, SOLID principles, Dependency Injection, and BLoC/Cubit state management.
- CORE SKILLS: Extensive experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling asynchronous data flows.
- CORE SKILLS: Hands-on experience with local storage: Hive, SharedPreferences, and Flutter Secure Storage

Solid grasp of mobile security best practices, including JWT authentication, AWS Cognito, SSL pinning, data encryption, and biometric authentication
- CORE SKILLS: Experience with Firebase — Crashlytics, Remote Config, Cloud Messaging (FCM), and Analytics
- CORE SKILLS: Experience implementing Deep Links, Universal Links, and App Links.
- CORE SKILLS: Robust experience integrating native platform functionality via Method/Platform Channels on both Android and iOS.
- CORE SKILLS: Experience building high-performance, responsive UI components and Flutter animations.
- CORE SKILLS: Demonstrated ability to optimise application performance and diagnose issues using monitoring and profiling tools
- CORE SKILLS: Track record of publishing and supporting apps on both major app stores.
- Nice to have SKILLS: Experience in the financial services industry, particularly mutual funds or investment platforms
- Nice to have SKILLS: Experience with widget, unit, and integration testing in Flutter
- Nice to have SKILLS: Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile releases (Fastlane, Codemagic, GitHub Actions, or similar)
- Nice to have SKILLS: Experience contributing to or maintaining a design system.
- Nice to have SKILLS: Working familiarity with backend fundamentals — REST, microservices, and a server-side language such as Java — enough to debug an integration end to end.
