Role Description
We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in React Native to join our team.
You will build, enhance, and maintain mobile applications for both Android and iOS, working closely with product, design, and backend teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native.
- Build and optimise applications for both Android and iOS.
- Convert UI designs and wireframes into responsive mobile screens, with working knowledge of Figma.
- Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
- Debug issues and optimise application performance and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers,
and backend developers.
- Participate in testing, code reviews, deployment, and ongoing application improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in React Native development.
- Experience building and maintaining applications for both Android and iOS.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations.
- Basic working knowledge of Figma and the ability to translate designs into mobile interfaces.
- Positive understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with Firebase.
- Knowledge of mobile app deployment on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
- Basic understanding of native Android or iOS development.
- Experience working on fintech or other consumer-facing applications.
