Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented MIS Executive/Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining management information systems to support decision-making processes, data analysis, and business operations. This position involves working with data, preparing reports, and providing insights for efficient business management.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & Analysis:

Gather, analyze, and interpret large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Monitor and validate data accuracy and consistency from various sources.

Report Generation

Develop and maintain periodic management reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Design automated reporting solutions to reduce manual processes.

System Management

Develop and maintain MIS tools, databases, and systems for data reporting and analysis.

Ensure the smooth functioning of reporting systems, identifying and resolving any issues.

Data Visualization

Create and maintain visually appealing reports and dashboards using tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

Present data-driven insights to management for decision-making purposes.

Collaboration

Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., finance, operations, HR) to gather requirements and ensure reports meet business needs.

Assist management in understanding complex data and guide on how it can be used for strategic decisions.

Process Improvement





Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.

Suggest improvements to existing reporting systems and propose automation solutions.

Training & Support:

Provide training and support to end-users in utilizing MIS tools and systems effectively.

Offer guidance on the proper use of reports, dashboards, and databases.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Technical Skills

Strong proficiency in MS Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, macros).

Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.

Experience with SQL and database management is preferred.

Knowledge of data visualization techniques and best practices.

Analytical Skills

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to interpret complex data.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.

Communication Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.

Soft Skills

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.

Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) is a plus.

Experience in automating reporting systems and workflow processes.

Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
