Job Role : MIS Executive

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive to manage supply-chain data, prepare regular MIS reports, track inventory and logistics performance, and provide accurate insights to support operational decision-making.

The ideal candidate should have strong Advanced Excel/MIS skills, valuable analytical ability, and an understanding of inventory, logistics, procurement, order processing, and supply-chain operations.

Sturlite is a Bangalore based electrical products company founded in 2009 with a vision to provide best in class electrical products to consumers. It is one of the fastest growing companies in this category and deals primarily in lighting (bulbs, LEDs, interior/exterior lighting etc.) and wiring, and it is now entering the category of switches, MCBs, etc. In future Sturlite would also want to enter small electrical appliances like fans, geysers, kitchen appliances etc.

It is a rapidly growing company with 2X annual business growth, having established itself in South & West India markets in the last few years, the company is aiming at a pan India presence by this year end and aiming to be one of the major players in the category within the next 3 years.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to supply-chain operations.

Consolidate data from inventory, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and sales teams.

Track inventory levels, stock movement, ageing, slow-moving and non-moving inventory.

Prepare Inventory-related Reports Including

Stock availability

Stock ageing

Inventory movement

Excess/shortage stock

Slow-moving and non-moving stock

Monitor purchase orders, sales orders, dispatches, deliveries, and pending orders.





Track logistics performance including dispatch status, delivery status, pending deliveries, and transporter performance.

Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, logistics, sales, and finance teams for data collection and reconciliation.

Identify data discrepancies, stock mismatches, and reporting errors and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.

Develop and maintain Excel dashboards, trackers, pivot reports, and management reports.

Analyze supply-chain data and highlight trends, gaps, delays, and operational issues to management.

Monitor Key Supply-chain KPIs Such As

Inventory Turnover

Stock Ageing

Order Fulfilment

On-Time Delivery

Dispatch TAT

Pending Orders

Logistics Cost

Maintain master data and ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.

Automate repetitive MIS activities wherever possible using Excel formulas, Pivot Tables, Power Query, and dashboards.

Support management with ad-hoc reports and data analysis as required.

Ensure timely submission of all scheduled MIS reports.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including:

SUMIFS/COUNTIFS

IF/IFERROR

Conditional Formatting

Data Validation

Charts & Dashboards

Power Query added advantage

Good understanding of Supply Chain, Inventory & Logistics operations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good data management and reporting skills.

Ability to work with large volumes of data.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate in B.Com / BBA / BBM / MBA / Supply Chain / Logistics or a related field.

5+ years of experience

Experience working with ERP/SAP will be an advantage.

Candidates from FMCG, Manufacturing, Electrical, Retail, Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain industries are preferred.
