Job Summary:

Responsible for managing microbiology-based production operations, ensuring production targets, product quality, regulatory compliance, GMP standards, and efficient utilization of manpower and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day microbiology production activities

- Plan production schedules and ensure timely achievement of targets

- Supervise production processes involving microbial cultures, fermentation, or microbiological products

- Ensure adherence to GMP, SOPs, GLP, and safety standards

- Monitor production parameters, yields, batch records, and process performance

- Coordinate with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, R&D;, Maintenance, and Stores teams

- Investigate production deviations, contamination issues, and process failures

- Implement CAPA and continuous improvement initiatives

- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of microbiological materials

- Manage production manpower, shift planning, training, and performance

- Maintain production documentation, batch records, and MIS reports

- Monitor equipment cleanliness, sterilization, and preventive maintenance

- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and biosafety requirements

- Drive productivity improvement, cost control,



and reduction of batch losses

Skills Required:

- Strong knowledge of Microbiology and production processes

- Knowledge of microbial culture, fermentation, sterilization, and aseptic practices

- Strong understanding of GMP, GLP, SOPs, CAPA, and deviation management

- Knowledge of contamination control and microbiological safety

- Good production planning and team management skills

- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Knowledge of documentation and regulatory compliance

Qualification & Experience:

- M.Sc./B.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences

- 6–12 years of experience in microbiology/pharma/biotech production

- Previous experience in a Production Manager / Production Lead role preferred

Preferred Experience:

- Experience in pharmaceuticals, probiotics, fermentation, biotechnology, microbial products, vaccines, or industrial microbiology

- Exposure to GMP-regulated manufacturing environments

- Experience managing production teams and batch-based manufacturing operations

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
