Role Description

This full-time, on-site Metal Fabricator role is based in Mohali. The appointed candidate will interpret technical drawings and measurements, cut, shape, and assemble metal components for custom gates, railings, staircases, and structural elements. Daily responsibilities include operating fabrication machinery and power tools, performing grinding and finishing work, and ensuring welds and joints meet quality and safety standards.





The role involves inspecting completed pieces for accuracy, maintaining tools and equipment, and following workplace safety protocols. You will collaborate with designers, engineers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and uphold Ornate Inc.’s quality standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong metalworking skills, including cutting, forming, and assembling metal components.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with hand tools and grinding techniques for fabrication and finishing work.
- Candidates should possess protected and effective use of power tools commonly used in metal fabrication.
- Candidates should possess basic forklift operation skills for handling and moving materials and finished products.
- Experience in architectural or structural metal fabrication is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and measurements accurately.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and commitment to safe work practices.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work in a team-oriented production environment.
- Relevant vocational training or apprenticeship in metal fabrication or a related trade is an advantage.
