Merchandising Manager / Senior Merchandiser Leather & Hardgoods

Key Responsibilities

- • Lead end-to-end merchandising from product development, sampling and costing through production and shipment.
- • Manage and coordinate the merchandising team and ensure timely execution of buyer requirements and orders.
- • Solid experience in leather & hardgoods including bags, accessories, boxes, trays, furniture and home dcor.
- • Handle costing, BOMs, price negotiation, material sourcing and vendor development.
- • Own T&A; / critical path, ensuring timely samples, approvals, production and shipments.
- • Coordinate with buyers, design, QA, production, sourcing and vendors to resolve issues proactively.
- • Ensure required quality, workmanship, finishing, testing and buyer specifications are achieved.
- • Drive vendor performance, cost optimization, timely delivery and management MIS.

Candidate Profile: 8–15+ years of relevant merchandising experience, preferably in leather goods, hardgoods, furniture, home accessories or export manufacturing, with strong team-management and product-development experience.
