Zavya is looking for a merchandiser to tighten sampling timelines, drive weight optimisation, develop new vendors, and make new launches land on schedule. This is a follow-up-heavy role for someone who closes loops without being chased.

What You'll Own

- Own sampling end to end — from design brief to approved sample.
- Track sample timelines, corrections, approvals, costing, weight, and feasibility in a live tracker.
- Drive weight reduction without compromising design, durability, or perceived value.
- Identify and onboard new vendors across silver, components, stones, and finishing.
- Negotiate MOQ, lead time, costing, and quality commitments with vendors.
- Travel for vendor visits,



production checks, sampling follow-ups, and market research.

What We're Looking For

- 2–5 years in merchandising, sampling, buying, vendor coordination, or production follow-up.
- Jewellery, accessories, fashion, lifestyle, or export house background preferred.
- Working knowledge of costing, weight management, and production feasibility.
- Solid negotiation and vendor-handling skills.
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets for trackers and reporting.
- Structured, detail-oriented, and relentless on follow-ups.

Sampling TAT · Sample approval closure rate · Weight reduction achieved · New vendors developed · Costing accuracy · Reduction in sampling delays and rework.
