Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor – Mechanical with robust expertise in quantity take-off, BOQ preparation, cost estimation, tendering, and commercial management of MEP projects.

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, utility piping, and other mechanical services, preferably across industrial, infrastructure, commercial, manufacturing, or large-scale MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs for mechanical MEP works.
- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to identify project quantities and scope.
- Prepare cost estimates, rate analysis, and material/labour calculations.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, project execution, and planning teams.
- Review shop drawings, design changes, and variations for commercial impact.
- Prepare and evaluate variation claims, extra-item claims, and change orders.
- Monitor project quantities against BOQ and identify quantity/cost deviations.
- Maintain proper documentation of quantities, rates, BOQs, and commercial records.
- Conduct quantity reconciliation for major materials and MEP installations.

- HVAC – AHU, FCU, Chillers,



Ducting & Ventilation
- Chilled water and refrigerant piping
- Plumbing and drainage systems
- Fire Fighting systems
- Utility piping and mechanical services
- Pumps, tanks, valves, and mechanical equipment

Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Quantity Surveying
- Excellent understanding of BOQ and quantity take-off
- Good knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel
- Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of contracts, variations, and billing
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good coordination and communication skills

Preferred Project Experience Experience in industrial, commercial, infrastructure, data centre, manufacturing, or large-scale MEP projects will be preferred.
