Role Description The Memory Layout Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru South. The engineer will be responsible for designing memory layouts, optimizing floorplans, and implementing layout strategies for analog and mixed-signal memory circuits. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with circuit design teams, performing physical verification, resolving DRC/LVS issues, and ensuring layouts meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.

The role also involves documentation of layout methodologies, participation in design reviews,



and close coordination with cross-functional engineering teams to support tape-out and production.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Layout Design, including floorplanning, device placement, routing, and layout optimization for memory blocks.
- Candidates should possess solid abilities in Circuit Design, with familiarity in Analog and Analog Circuits for memory and mixed-signal designs.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Physical Verification, including DRC, LVS, and related sign-off checks using industry-standard EDA tools.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with standard semiconductor CAD/EDA tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor) and understanding of CMOS technology, process design kits (PDKs), and design rules.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, VLSI, or a related discipline is preferred; prior experience in memory layout or analog layout is an advantage.
