Medical Physicist Radiation Oncology

Key Responsibilities & Roles

- Treatment planning, dose calculation, and plan verification.

- Dosimetry, calibration, and QA of radiotherapy equipment.

- Commissioning and acceptance testing of LINAC, brachytherapy, CT simulator, TPS, and related equipment.

- Daily, monthly, and annual QA of radiotherapy equipment.

- Ensure radiation safety and compliance with applicable AERB requirements.

- Support protected and accurate delivery of external beam radiotherapy and brachytherapy.

- Investigate equipment issues, treatment errors, and dosimetric discrepancies.

- Maintain QA, calibration, physics, and regulatory records.

- Coordinate with Radiation Oncologists and Radiation Therapy Technologists.

- Participate in teaching, training, research,



and academic activities.

Qualification

- M.Sc./M.Tech. in Medical Physics / Radiological Physics or equivalent from a recognized institution.

- Valid eligibility/requirements as prescribed by AERB and applicable regulatory authorities.

Location: Sikar Rajasthan

Experience

- Relevant experience in Radiation Oncology/Medical Physics preferred.

- Experience in treatment planning, dosimetry, equipment QA, commissioning, and radiation safety.

- Fresh candidates with required clinical training may be considered for Junior Medical Physicist positions.
